The company's Director, as a genuine "people person", is a Companion of the Corporate Institute of Personnel and Development (this award only being made by their peers to those who are acknowledged as having made a significant contribution to the profession). He is also an "Investors In People" Advisor and Employment Tribunal member.

The Director and Lead Consultant with Professional HR Services established the company eight years ago. During its development, work over the full spectrum of the Human Resource area has been carried out for a broad range of blue chip organisations of all sizes spanning a particularly wide area of Industry and Commerce.

Prior to establishing the company, several years were spent as Bursar in George Watsons' College the largest single site school in the UK where administrative systems and procedures were established to allow, particularly, for effective financial control.

Some twenty years had previously been spent as Personnel and External Relations Manager with Wm Teacher & Sons, the Glasgow based whisky distilling, blending and bottling company in a post which spanned full responsibility for the Human Resource, Communication and Public Relations areas in a multi-site, multi-union organisation. In this, too, there was considerable involvement at Board level in the Management of Change.

Prior to this, several years experience was gained with major Engineering companies in the local area.
